described in detail on page 21 and 22 of this manual.
Use the Init function to initialize a sound to ist basic
parameter settings. This is useful if you want to start
programming a sound from the scratch.
w When you initialize a program, all action takes place
inside an edit buffer. Therefore no data will be lost
until you store the program.
Randomize Sound initializes all parameters of a Sound
Program with random values.
w When you randomize a program, all action takes
place inside an edit buffer. Therefore no data will be
lost until you store the program.
Use Randomize as much as possible. This is how
most of the Blofeld´s presets are programmed ;-)
MIDI Dump Functions
The dump functions let you send and receive the contents
of the Blofeld’s memory via MIDI (receiving only) or USB.
When you activate the send functions, the Blofeld sends
the contents of its memory to the USB port to a connected
computer. Using a sequencer software or a special sound
editor program, you can record and archive this data.
w The available dump options depend on the used
mode. In Multimode additional dump options are
available.
