Sound Parameter
Blofeld User´s Manual 64
Parameter Controls of the Effects
The Blofeld has two effect units. The first effect unit is
always part of the Sound Program. The second effect can
be assigned either globally.
Mix 1 0…127
The only parameter that is common to all types of effects
is the Mix parameter. This parameter controls the volume
ratio between the original signal and the effect output. If
set to 0, the dry signal is sent to the outputs only so that
no effects can be heard. Higher values will increase the
effect signal. At maximum setting, the pure effect signal
will be heard.
Mix 2 0…127
See Mix 1.
w The usage of effects requires DSP Power and can lead
to decreased polyphony. The setting “Bypassdoesn’t
need any processing power.
Effects Edit Menu
To access the Effects Edit Menu press the Shift button
shortly (if Auto Edit is set to on) or for some time (if Auto
Edit is set to off). Use the Selection dial to scroll through
the corresponding menu pages. The name of the page is
shown in the top of the display.
Type Bypass / Chorus / Flanger / Phaser /
Overdrive / Triple FX / Delay / Clk. Delay / Reverb
Sets the type of effect produced by the first effect unit. All
further parameters depend on the selected effect type.
Mix 0…127
This parameter controls the volume ratio between the
original signal and the effect output. If set to 0, the dry
signal is sent to the outputs only so that no effects can be
heard. Higher values will increase the effect signal. At
maximum setting, the pure effect signal will be heard.
Effect Bypass
Disables the effect unit. No further parameters available.
